Yall go a little crazy with documentation. I didnt do nearly the same amount most of yall do. We married in 2008 though, so the years help us. I only sent in some shared documentation, leases, bank accounts, etc. I didn't do any affidavits, chat history, plane tickets. Although I can provide if needed down the road.

Hey, some folks won't mind the added time that a Request for Evidence might cause. It took me about an hour to put together all that "crazy documentation". I would never advise anybody to take a six shooter to a gunfight with only two bullets. :bonk:

I'm Vermont too...I'll make 6 months waiting on April 12th. I'm kind of starting to feel like my petition is being ignored on purpose :( I sent a letter to my congressman and I also sent a request through his website. I hope that works.

I am really happy though to finally see some movement from VSC and am hopeful that I'll get my NOA2 soon :)

Congrats on all of the recent approvals!

A few of us in here are at VSC and approaching 6 months wait. I'm getting antsy just waiting day by day, but at least I'm visiting my husband and we're waiting together...makes it just A TAD better! lol

It has been really windy here in the North east, hope that VSC shack doesn't blow away :o

Apparently VSC's timeline has been "updated" to 6 months, but still shows 5 months on their website. My husband called VSC when we hit our 5 month mark last week, the lady on the phone suggested that we continue to wait as they are currently processing September filers (makes no sense because a few October filers at VSC have recently been approved)...so we are going to wait until the 6 month mark and see what happens, anything after that we will contact our congressman and whoever else will be of assistance.

Perhaps your husband's intuition may come true!

Finally got the NVC process flowing, case numbers, IIN numbers, Beneficiary ID #s. All important.

Also if your going to Montreal Embassy make sure you do your research, none of the NVC guides are updated for "Online Processing". Its taken a lot of digging to find the right info and a lot of extra calls for more info.

It looks like two primary steps for Montreal, send OPTIN e-mail for Electronic Processing (if want to save time by e-mailing) and then fill out all forms online at CEAC website. No Choice of agent forms or DS forms, all done electronically now.

Good info to research if you know your going to be sent to Montreal.

you know whats my friend got hers approved in a little over 2 months..... She was a September filer... So just weird that they said they still doing the September files.... does not make sense to me....
