Congrats on the approvals!

I stopped looking at my timeline once it was saying August, but guess who sneeked a peek and noticed its back to April 5-11th.....

That sounds about right for CSC, but as for VSC, it's an entirely different story! lol Good luck :)

By the way, are you guys getting your documents for the NVC stage?

NOA2 -> NVC process is a killer. Im calling daily trying to get my NVC case number and so tired of hearing "We dont have record of that case number on file".

I just want to get moving.

Wow, it really takes more than a week for someone to input some digits? Hope they get moving soon

i could've written this post myself! Even though it's a relatively short phase... it's the thought that it's so simple and should only take a few seconds to do that gets me!

how long does the NVC stage normaly take?

the reason why i ask is my wife will be taking the national RN exam the 1st week of July

& she will not get the results till sept. & then she still will still have a few loose ends that need tied up before she can gets her RN license which she will need here to avoid a bunch of BS with the local nursing board.

should we drag our feet on the NVC?:blush::blush:

once she gets get visa how long does she have till she has to be in the U.S. ???

thanks for your input

Piglett, I believe that the visa has to be used within 6 months of the date it was issued (if this info is wrong anyone feel free to correct me). I think that should give your wofe plenty of time to tie up any loose ends. :)

Piglett, I believe that the visa has to be used within 6 months of the date it was issued (if this info is wrong anyone feel free to correct me). I think that should give your wofe plenty of time to tie up any loose ends. :)

my wife needed a 75% to pass the exam in Dec. & she came up a little short in 1 of the 5 sections so she ended up getting a 74 which is not a passing grade. she was crushed but i told her "if you fall off of a horse you have to get rite back on"

so she intends to retake it & they only hold the exam twice a year.

also the company that she works for there asked that she gives a 30 day notice once her visa arrives

however in return I'm sure that she will get a great reference from them so i told her to tell them yes.

if we don't get NOA2 till May & then we wait for them to input all the info & then send the packet to new hampshire & then her & I file all that is needed paperwork for NVC what month will her interview be???

who here cares to take a shot in the dark & guess???

(don't worry I'll not hold ya to it if your wrong)

thanks all

piglett

@piglett - Hmmr. If May, then add 2 wks for input to NVC. Then.. perhaps 2 months to get through NVC and then 2 weeks to forward to embassy.. so perhaps August for your interview? However, I<3JJ is right, you'll have 6 months to use the visa.

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks from the official notice date on NOA2.

I called the NVC and asked for an operator tonight and they told me that they DID see my case having just been received finally, but not input into the system. Friday or Monday and I can check again.
