Now read that December filers are getting touches, when are we gonna get NOA2?? common CSC

USCIS journey:

07/25/2010 - Nikah Day

11/10/2010 - sent I-130

11/15/2010- Priority Date

11/18/2010- Notice Date

03/16/2011- Case has been updated on website

04/20/2011- Received NOA2 approval email (Finally)

153 days from our NOA1 to NOA2 .

NVC Journey

04/05/2011: Received NVC Case #

05/30/2011 - Emailed DS3032 ( moving at snail's pace i know )

06/03/2011 - AOS fee Paid

06/03/2011 - Acceptance of DS3032

optimism always has to win out in these situations.

telling myself that a "touch" resulting to pretty much nothing ALWAYS beats a "touch" followed by an RFE :thumbs:

It's a really basic question especially this late in the game, but are those with touches seeing such comments when entering the case number in the uscis.gov site's case status box? Our receipt date was changed from 11/8 to 11/5, but there was nothing about a touch or change being made. It's just said "Initial Review" ever since the case number was first assigned.

When you log into your USCIS portfolio, look at the column to the right of your receipt number that says Last Updated

(mm/dd/yyyy)

A touch, I think, means that this date has been adjusted from what it was before. I might be wrong, but that's how I thought a "touch" is defined.

11/16/2010: I-797C, Notice of Action received

03/15/2011: Touched

04/10/2011: Sent email to my Democrat congressman

From this page, you need to look to the left and click on "Sign into account" (if you havent created one yet i think it says Sign up for account) then add your case, and go from there!

I just registered today to share with you all that I have been approved today. I have been active on the site without ever registering but was following along and praying that we all get to see this day.

My I-130 NOA1 was dated for Nov 2nd (touched on 03/14) and I-129f NOA1 was Nov 16th (touched on 03/17). Both of my petitions were approved as of March 23rd.
