Which is proof (if you needed it) that touches don't mean a thing. :hehe: Anyway, I'm taking it as a sign they're now actively working on our cases (as I also got touched today), and we'll hear something either by the end of the week or by the end of next week.

HOLY COW!! I just got touched too!!! That's a handful of us at the same time!! Oh I hope it means that ours are next! :) (Yes, yes, i know... a touch doesn't "mean" anything, but you gotta be happy to see SOMETHING right??)

Hello Kira from Russia. Our 5 month is today. My husband sent petition October 15th. But I see Vermont center working not so fast like California...

K1 and IR1/CR1 are two different visas, therefore, they have two different sets of people working on them. Also, there are likely more people applying for the IR1/CR1, so therefore it goes a little slower for us.

I would suggest you wait a couple of weeks after your '5 month to the day' mark, then put in a service request.

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

Great news on the touches guys! Like its been said before, you never know what it means, but at least your petition isnt sat in the corner gathering dust!

Still nothing my end, but finally got my passport changed to my married name today. It took 1 week, so my worrying about not getting it back was silly, but they folded my marriage certificate in about 5 different ways so its all mangled now! Oh well!

Im hoping that someone gets a nice approval this week! Hows everyone doing on getting ready for the next step?

Honestly.... I'm starting to panic a little. As much as I wanted this moment to come, as I start to get ready for it, I am nervous. I just posted about getting my husband's police certificate and making sure we get what he truly needs and not get "surprised". But I just worry that something will happen and we'll be delayed and things won't go as I anticipate. Maybe I'm just feeling pessimistic today, but I just want to get thru to the interview and get him here.

I don't care if it's K1 or CR1. I won't wait a single extra day. This is my 3rd year since I'm trying to reunite with my husband.
