Hi everyone! I've never posted on here before, but just wanted to give you some information on my husband's visa in case it helps at all. Our I-130 was handled by the California Service Center... NOA1 was October 24, 2010 and NOA2 was two days ago- March 7, 2011 (134 days). I hope approval is just around the corner for all of you too!

No news over on my end. Approaching 4 months too. My original dream of a 3 months approval has gone (i knew id get my hopes up thinking that way!) so now im just praying all of us get it before 5 months. Who's 5 months is soonest? Have we got an Oct 1st NOA1?

If you go over the 5 months, you will be able to put in a service request. Then they will tell you to wait more time. Gotta love it!!

yeah thats about sums it up and hopefully CSC isn't going to be behind on Nov/Dec because of having to give the July/August filers finally their just deserves this whole process is frustrating..:(:(

still waiting on our NOA2 ughhhh......our 5 month deadline is next friday......praying it happens before then.....and if it doesnt what happens??? i know i call USCIS but from there what will they do????

I called USCIS today. They said that VSC's current processing time is not 5 months how it says on the website, but that their current processing time is actually 6 months. Since my petition was received 5 months ago instead of 6 she could not put in a service request and told me to call back in a month. She also informed me that they (VSC) are currently looking at petitions received on September 11, 2010.

I'm going to call again on Wednesday or Thursday because I was told by another VJ member that they update that information on the 14th of every month. Hopefully when I call again they will tell me that they are looking at cases received sometime in October :whistle:

Bravo! This is pretty good proof that at this time, the VJ Timelines are not very useful. Your timeline today says, "Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between May 2, 2011 and June 6, 2011*."

So, you need to put that letter back in the mail and tell them to send it back on May 2nd. :lol:
