^ That would be nice.. I told my parents I was going to try to only check the website once a week rather than refreshing it constantly throughout the day like I want to..:whistle:

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

You need to give the USCIS time to imput the in NOA-1 filings, they have thousands

of mail to them everyday. Give them a week and than go to the USCIS.gov site

and input your WAC or in from the I-797c they send you. It takes about 265 days for the

total process from your filing date until your interview dependiung on your service

center. Many from the CSC service center filing after July, 2010 has been transfered

to the TSC becasue they have less bogged down and dont have a back logg of cases. It

still means this IF YOU WERE AT 5 MONTHS THAN YOUR CLAIM IS FIVE MONTHS it means by

it dont start again another 5 months. If you have not heard by January 1st, 2011 you

should be hearing from TSC on your approval. Dont count on it in 4 months. The process

time is still the same and it taking 5 month to process cases. 145 to 155 days is the

standard time to process back ground checks on the petitioniers back ground before

the approval. Than between the end of November to December 31st its very likely for

christmas you will be receiving your NOA-2 for a christmas present approval.

If you have not heard by January 2nd than you better be calling the USCIS and find out

why the delay.

Any other questions send me a mail.

Ron is correct: It took mine a good week but it is up and running. I would like to join the impatience too. Ron is also correct it's a minimum 4 month adn more like five with the holidays before an approval. I am biding my time by making sure I have all the other things in place for the next step. Good luck all.

He got the electronic notification that the package was received. They sent the SMS based on the filing the form 1145 with you I-130 package. His NOA1 will arrive in the mail. With the case number you can register to track your case on the USCIS website. Maybe someone who has done it can give you the link to register and walk you through the process. I've yet to mail out my package....dang delays...oh, well.

George

Hello everybody!

My husband sent I-130. He got sms with nomber started from EAC... Is it NOA1?

Amy and Nick,

Don't forget that the fee for the I-130 goes up from $355 to $420 on the 23rd of November. Be sure to get it in the mail by then or make the check for $420. Wouldn't want your petition rejected because of this . I should be "FEDEXing" mine out on the 16th or so...let's hope. I'm only using FEDEX because I'm all the way in Guam and the mail here can be notoriously slow.:bonk:

Hey, no need to explain--I'd be very excited for a touch!!! At the very least, it reassures you that your file isn't lost over there!
