I have been reading this thread for a solid month now and I was getting really excited that my approval was around the corner. But the mood in this thread has really turned south in the last week or so.

For this thread to get positive again, we really need to see some October approvals or us November folks are not going to see an approval until we are close to the five month mark. And that would suck big time.

Hi guys/gals,

Just got my text and email notification that NOA2 was approved! They said they mailed the notice today, the 17th. My NOA1 date was October 22nd. Less than 4 months, I got lucky. Now I have to figure out what to do with NVC since I sent USCIS my originals by mistake(duh!). Darnell and Loto both gave me some good advice, just wondering if anyone made that error as well. Good luck to everyone, this must be a good sign for Oct/Nov filers. God bless.

I'm hoping this keeps up. My wife has now gotten a little loopy from the waiting and now convinced herself she is going to be rejected.

We did kinda botch the process but I believe its all perfectly legal.

She came from Canada, didn't need a visa, stayed in country approximately 2 years, went back to Canada to be with her dad a bit. Due to financial reasons we basically waited till October to file papers.

Since she was on the visa waiver program and didn't enter the country illegally I don't see any reason why she would be denied and sent on a ban or anything. Keep telling her to stay positive about it, but having no luck. I'm hoping for a NOA2 to make her see the bright side again.

Overstays are forgiven if married to the USC i think? And you went home and then applied so i think it would be fine (not an expert though).

We are about to file- wondering long it will take with all this back log (we are from PA- will are application go to CSC?)
