I know its absolutely ludicrous to feel ancy at 2 months, especially when for personal reasons my wife can't move here to the states until early August, but I just want to see some kind of progress on the case at this point. I'm going nuts, and its only been 2 months.

On a side note, I'm super happy for all the TSC filers. It really looks like they're getting their approvals quickly, and their NVC case numbers. I hope they are all approved and into NVC quickly, and the whole log-jam gets sorted out for them. I'm ancy at 2 months, I think I'd be psychotic at 7.

I hope they all get approved by next week,cant wait to see november approvals rolling in.

I'm hoping this keeps up. My wife has now gotten a little loopy from the waiting and now convinced herself she is going to be rejected.

We did kinda botch the process but I believe its all perfectly legal.

She came from Canada, didn't need a visa, stayed in country approximately 2 years, went back to Canada to be with her dad a bit. Due to financial reasons we basically waited till October to file papers.

Since she was on the visa waiver program and didn't enter the country illegally I don't see any reason why she would be denied and sent on a ban or anything. Keep telling her to stay positive about it, but having no luck. I'm hoping for a NOA2 to make her see the bright side again.

We filed in November and because the USCIS website has issues updating properly we can't find any info in the system as of yet....but i did speak with someone and at first they said they couldnt find our case then she transferred me to another agent who said it is in process and pending approval and also said since we have hard copy of noa1 then all we can do is wait...no time frame...so sad...just praying he can be here for our first anniversary in October... just waiting patiently on noa2...well...as patient as i can be for now ;)

Hi there, I'm not trying to scare you or anything, but just so you are aware, getting the NOA2 does not mean that you are home free. This overstay may come up later in the process – probably not during the USCIS stage because they would have no way of knowing, but it could come up in the interview (when the final decision is made). As far as I know, Canadians are allowed to stay for up to 6 months at a time without a visa, so I imagine that staying for two years would count as an overstay. I don't know enough about these kinds of situations myself, but I would recommend that you do some research on how to be prepared in the event that they do find out about the overstay and it comes up in the interview. Good luck!

I know that feeling all too well...and then when you try to call the automated system it says its not found and then u try to speak to a human and they are just plain rude...ugh.. INSHALLAH we will see more approvals every day and soon our turn...I just don't know what all this transferring will mean for our i 130 approvals whether it will speed us up a bit or slow us down ....if anyone has any ideas let us know i can't find much info except they passed the applications to texas and then back again ;(

Where do you check your stuff online? I check mine on the UCIS websitebut nowhere that I know of does it tell you if it has been touched. thanks for the feed back David
