 I second that motion and I'm an August CSC-TSC-BLACKHOLE filer too.

thanks!! Hope you get NOA2 soon and good luck on rest of journey...!!

If you read impact of tsc-csc transfers Thread #2 someone mentioned that uscis might be closed for sometimes. ... I find it hard to believe but what's happening these days anything is possible ?? Any news on that ? I'm not really worried but just curious because this is the last thing uscis should be doing

i hope not..they should be staying over time and hiring ppl to solve that whole mess... :crying: :crying:

You guys should be OK with the processing times, at least I hope so. I had an interview with a reporter today, the article will be published in print and online soon. It will be a good reference IF you guys have to endure what Jul/Aug filers have.

Chok Dee!! (Good luck)

Hi, I'm pretty sure that you should only send what is required to the NVC with the DS-230 (civil documents such as certified/original marriage certificates, beneficiary's birth certificate, beneficiary's police certificate, photocopy of biographic page of passport, etc.). The documents are listed here:

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3195.html

Any other proof of a bona fide marriage should be brought to the consulate interview, along with photocopies of all of your civil documents so you can get the originals back. That's my understanding according to this guide and many others that I've read.

 thanks i had read the other guide but not that one...that one is alot easier to follow and has great examples..!!

You're welcome! Yes, all of those different guides can make your head spin, but I do find Loto's to be easier to understand. Just always make sure to cross-reference with the official State Department website and the actual instructions on the forms. Good luck!

I'm hoping this keeps up. My wife has now gotten a little loopy from the waiting and now convinced herself she is going to be rejected.

We did kinda botch the process but I believe its all perfectly legal.

She came from Canada, didn't need a visa, stayed in country approximately 2 years, went back to Canada to be with her dad a bit. Due to financial reasons we basically waited till October to file papers.

Since she was on the visa waiver program and didn't enter the country illegally I don't see any reason why she would be denied and sent on a ban or anything. Keep telling her to stay positive about it, but having no luck. I'm hoping for a NOA2 to make her see the bright side again.
