October/November 2010 Immigrant Visa filers (CR-1/IR-1)

Hi guys, I'm just a visiting August filer (one of the CSC to TSC and back to CSC victims), and I felt like saying something. I know some people are very bitter from having waited so long and are taking it out on you guys a little bit. I understand the bitterness and frustration (I'm extremely upset myself, and I haven't been waiting as long as others, nor is my situation as dire as others' situations), but I also know that it's in no way your fault. I remember feeling incredibly impatient even a couple of months into the process – even though it's estimated to take five months, it's only natural to hope it will be quicker than that, and it hurts to be belittled by others who have been waiting longer, as if your own pain doesn't matter.

That said, it is only fair for us transfers (who were at CSC to begin with and should have already been adjudicated) to be processed first, and I know you guys know that. Honestly though, I don't think it should have too big of an impact on you. CSC is very efficient (in relative terms... we are talking about a government agency here), and they've promised to clear us out by March 1. I think almost all of you should still be approved within the five-month time frame (which, I know, feels like an eternity). I know you've heard this all before, but I felt like sharing some goodwill with you guys. I hope you don't have bad feelings towards the CSC-TSC-CSC transfers who are now jumping back in line ahead of you (back to where we should have been, really!), and please know that most of us don't have any bad feelings towards you! We're mostly just thinking of ourselves anyway and just hoping that USCIS is really going to follow through on their promises and that this nightmare will end soon.

honestly all oct/nov filers are the most supportive gang you will find, we have nothing against ctc-tsc-csc filers , we want all of you to get approvals as soon as possible

Thanks, that is true (I've read a few pages back)... I think that other thread started by that guy who I think was basically just trying to start a fight between July/August transfers and more recent filers just got into my head a bit (I think I saw you on that thread, so I'm pretty sure you know the one I'm talking about). I don't begrudge anybody their right to complain on a message-board, no matter how unjustified it may seem to me. Just happened to think people should be realistic about their expectation, look around them and assess the situation. The more realistic your expectations, the less dissappointed you are likely to be.

it's understood that 99.9% of you are good people minding your own business just wanting to get through the process. to that, the rest of us here are wishing that you are approved YESTERDAY.

October filers are starting to really move according to Igor's list. The latest 15 approvals have moved quickly as well. :thumbs: :thumbs:

yes and mostly approvals were of ppl with NOA 18 and onwards so lets hope they keep approving & we all can :dance: :dance: :dance:

Thank you for your concern , i mean really you dont have to do that because we all are quite happy ,supportive & realistic around here. And if i recall your previous comments here ,they weren't pretty realistic as they were bit inappropriate.Have you ever heard of word/emotion "HOPE" , i guess you must be aftr all this long wait which wasn't a pleasant one , so please dont worry about us, we all are fine. I dont have any grudge or whatever against you but i would rather live in my own not so realistic world right now.

Thank you for your concern , i mean really you dont have to do that because we all are quite happy ,supportive & realistic around here. And if i recall your previous comments here ,they weren't pretty realistic as they were bit inappropriate.Have you ever heard of word/emotion "HOPE" , i guess you must be aftr all this long wait which wasn't a pleasant one , so please dont worry about us, we all are fine. I dont have any grudge or whatever against you but i would rather live in my own not so realistic world right now.
