No1 - NOBODY here (july/aug/) is looking for your sympathy and sure enough nobody needs your accidity either! We are only saying that it's NOT normal for them to have aproved petitions that were filed WAY after hours!!Why's that so freaking hard for you to understand?!?

I know that's easy from where you're standing to say "oh!! Such a mean thing so say to others that got lucky with 3 or less... to actually have a +5 months process..."sorry" for you though, it sucks... I feel for you!!

No2.- I just said that I HOPE that JUSTICE /Karma/ whatever you call it will be fair to us too!!

I wonder how you'd feel to be stuck for +7 months away from your loved one!? I wonder how you would feel to be more than 7 months away from the spouse and your sick child (not me but a july filler) that's in the hospital, breathing through tubes, being under medication, I wonder how you would feel as a parent, helpless to do ANYTHING to bring the child to the us for treatment and for family reunion, even 7 months later while some get lucky!

All we are saying is that we HOPE that they will rectify this mess!!

That being said it's either you get it.... or just shut up!

If you have nothing supportive to say, dont bother posting here. This thread was started to be a place of support for people to band together during this awful process. I was under the impression that thats what VJ in general was about. However you are one of the few acidic, bitter people who are contributing nothing to the situation.

If you MUST post aggressive comments, please refrain from doing it in my thread, and start one of your own instead.

I understand your frustration against the USCIS for the appalling way your case has been treated, however not a single one of us asked to be processed ahead of you, so take out your anger in the right place. I am fully aware of the CSC to TSC fiasco, and if i could guarantee Wade getting processed ahead of me to get his wife and child back where they belong, I would not hesitate. It is an awful situation and have nothing but compassion for what he and so many others are going through.

I wish you the best of luck

are you going to make copies of your whole NVC package and send them to your wife for the interview?

i was wondering about that? i've read stories where stuff got lost from NVC to the consulate and the whole good thing we brought copies thing came up...

I will definitely be bringing copies to my *husband's* interview, since I'll be attending the interview with him. However, if I weren't, I would definitely send him copies of the whole AOS packet, the whole IV packet, and the whole I-130 packet. We even have an extra set of certified copies of both of our birth certificates, our marriage certificate, and of course the new police certificate! We're not taking any chances!!! :D

I had the same issue. I usually self prepare my tax returns but this was my first time filing as "married" so I went to a tax preparer to make sure it would be done correctly. The guy insisted it would not be done and offered to call the IRS to confirm this. I also decided to call and was given two options, file as married filing jointly and send a W-7 or file as married filing separately. The tax preparer gave me a call the next day and told me he was right, that I could not file as married nor could my husband apply for an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (W-7)! It took all of my stregnth not to laugh at him.

I'm going to end up preparing my taxes on my own once again...The IRS customer service rep was very helpful, however, I was put on hold for an hour and our conversation only lasted about 10 mins or less. I hope I won't have to call them again anytime soon!

Do you have any kids in your house?

I agree, not really fair but the latest records of aprovals show that's not really a fast lane towards the NVC for them!:)Not even one got NVC# yet!;) Hopefully they will realize that before senting sep.oct. fillers off to the NVC they will first get done w/jun.july.aug. However this case with "post decision activity" does not mean aproved, Trust me! Me and a few others (july/aug) have the same and STILL waiting , this case has to take a no. :)

The best thing you should do is call them every other day but don't stop @ the first pers. ask to talk to a supervisor(officer)!! get an info pass online(you do quilify since you are over the 5 months)write to your congressman/woman, senator.

read carefully! "post decision activity" does NOT really mean "aproved" isn't it?!It's either one or the other ;) The notice (NOA2) must simply say: your petiton # is "aproved" than you wait to be fwd. to the NVC! Hopefully after the July/Aug fillers ;) good luck!

Hi There!! No It def said APPROVED I recieved a e-mail stating this GOOD LUCK on ur journey though hun !!

Thanks Guys it means alot...I too have been on this forum..not knowing what too do (until the good hearted people here point you in the right direction!), waiting for what seems like forever (it does drive you insane!!) and i personally think that any good news shared on this forum will definately benefit people. Whether you've just started your journey or are in the middle good luck! this is one off the hardest things Ive ever done, and I cant wait for everyone to eventually be with the people they love and miss.
