Anyone active here who filed in October / early November and the case transferred to CSC and receipt number not in the case status system?

I filed I-130 10/29/2010 at Chicago Lockbox; case transferred to CSC and not in the USCIS Case Status System till todate. Trying to identify fellow VJers in the same plight, so we can keep us informed if there is any progress.

I filed Nov 13 with priority date Nov 15..i haven't been able to follow my case online..i called they said up to two months to go online..second call...the lady said maybe never online..

I filed my original in october and i was and am still able to view the status as initial review. I cancelled this petition to file a new petition direct through the embassy and the USCIS still shows the same status so either there's a long delay to change what's available to us on their website or the USCIS is taking a long time.

8 days shaved off the timeline. i know it doesn't mean much but it's progress!

We are going through this journey 2nd time because our first case was denied after the 2nd interview. So, it could be our old record that USCIS might be able to track down and approve this new case.

Now do you guys consider yourself lucky or not after finding out about our journey . So, it is good to leave it on God and just keep moving

well the 67 day approval couldn't have been more deserving. best of luck to this journey

I filed on Nov 3rd and I've been able to follow no problem.

Thanks for your response. Good to know that we could compare notes on how the case progresses. Same here on calling USCIS. Officer confirmed that the case is in the system and it's not online due to an error. He mentioned it might never make it online.

after you filed did you received any Notice of Action(noa)form ,I-797 ?you should have on that one a case number and the center that it is processed

My NOA1 is from Oct 26, 2010. I'm able to track online. But I did not get an electronic confirmation though I submitted a form to be notified electronically.

Check out my time line.I am an October filer and it still says "case not found". I have stopped worrying about all that according to the advice of some wise guys here . I suggest you do the same and start focusing on the Pre NVC preparation. Good Luck.
