I had a dream last night that I got a text notification and when I checked the USCIS website my case had been approved on 1/28/2011...the dream felt so real but unfortunately I had to wake up to reality

Yeah, I think somewhere deep down in my subconscious I still have hope which would explain the dream, lol. I've handled the wait ok thus far but this long distance marriage can take it's toll on me sometimes. I just have to think happy thoughts and keep busy.

All these recent approvals do help keep up my spirits though

We are going through this journey 2nd time because our first case was denied after the 2nd interview. So, it could be our old record that USCIS might be able to track down and approve this new case.

Now do you guys consider yourself lucky or not after finding out about our journey . So, it is good to leave it on God and just keep moving

I'm sorry you were denied the first time. Hopefully things will work out better the second time, now that you guys must have surely learned from any mistakes (in the case that any were made) and have experience dealing with the NVC and your country's US embassy. Again, good luck on your journey.

I agree it can take a toll..I hope all these approvals means we are next inline...yes im dreaming about this process to anything from approvals to denials at the interview stage.. this whole process is driving me crazy...lol

Anyone active here who filed in October / early November and the case transferred to CSC and receipt number not in the case status system?

I filed I-130 10/29/2010 at Chicago Lockbox; case transferred to CSC and not in the USCIS Case Status System till todate. Trying to identify fellow VJers in the same plight, so we can keep us informed if there is any progress.
