hi,

i am a german citizen and my wife is us citizen. we filed our petition in october and received the confirmation that CSC reveived the petition october 19th. now we are waiting and hoping for the best.

one question though. most or all of the applicants i have seen on here are people who have jobs and such. we are both students, i will be graduating this april from university, does this make any difference in the whole process since obviously we dont have a mortgage together or insurance. However her mom is filing the I - 864 affidavit support.

As long as you have a co-sponser thats the main thing. Does she have no type of health insurance? or perhaps a rental agreement you could be added to? If not, a joint account would be good!

Yeah, the Zen things not working for me! Just gave in and checked timeline, and Mar 7-26...

I hit 2 months and my optimism has dropped to zero!

Although I definitely got a giggle out of people running around sneezing on our petitions!

i keep telling myself to expect the best but prepare for the worst. :mellow:

I have a question on DS-3032(Choice of Agent). Can anybody please suggest.

I have downloaded the Choice of Agent form from USCIS.

Print or Type your Full Name

My husband does not have a middle name. We tried to put NONE in the MI field, but it is not allowed as the filed only accepts 3 characters. Can we write N/A or should we leave the filed blank?

Leave it blank or put NMN. You sometimes see it abbreviated as NMI also.

I was really hoping that CSC was getting to us post the transfer of July and August. Looks like we're in for the full 5 months wait as they must have gotten some of them transferred back. Igor's list just had two from that time approved. I'm guessing CSC got some of the petitions back from TSC and we're on hold now. Patience I suppose.....patience..........

i really doubt that every August filer was sent to TSC and i highly doubt they would screw those people who got transferred to Texas again by sending them back to Cali. with that said though, it's still a little disheartening to see them still working their way through August in CSC. looking at the graph from the link and seeing the movement in Oct-Jan is just sad.

I sent mine in July 17th 2010. No activity since November 03, 2010 transfer notice. No NOA2.

Sent in Sep 29th (almost october) and got my NOA2 on the Jan 10th, they are moving pretty darn fast

Most Sentators won't accomplish much. They give the Senator's aides the same run-around as they give the customers.

If it has been more than 5 months since your NOA1 date, contact your senators. Also, the average dates between NOA1 and NOA2 is currently about 140 days.
