I was gonna have a moan up about the holiday slowdown, but ive decided against it. So instead, im gonna say MERRY CHRISTMAS! eat, drink and be merry! If us immigration folk dont need a stiff drink at this time of year, i dunno who does!

What should the affidavit for the witnesses of our wedding specifically look like? Does anyone know of any examples on the internet? I thought I found one a few months online but I can't find it anymore. I am just not exactly sure how it should look or how the layout should be. Thanks for advice.

I found some more examples after I posted this last night, but the link you sent me seems like the best. Thanks very much. Do I have to translate this back and forth for the notaries there, or do you have any other suggestions? Merry Christmas, Happy Hanuka, and may God bless.

Glad to help:) I know for uscis everything needs to be pretty much in english and there is a debate on whether they need to be notarized also..if you can i would personally...for NVC stage everything needs to be in english or in the language of the country you are interviewing in...(for example my papers english or and albanian:)..when you get anything translated to english that you have it stamped by a notary and that the person is competent in both english and the language its being translated from:) I hope this answered ? ..sorry so long post..HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE..HOPE FOR A FAST JOURNEY FOR ALL OF US:D

Now that we are getting closer, and the timeline shows that some people have already received NOA2 and moved to Visa stuff is anyone doing police checks?

Anyone have experience with the police checks for Canadians and how long they are valid? My wife is in Manitoba, so I'm not sure if it differs from provinces.

That seems like the longest step of the next process.

Thanks!
