the waiting game is sh**ty, but it doesn't mean we have to all be gloom and doom about it.

Correct. I have my days where this waiting makes me feel a bit down, but mostly I try to keep my self busy and distracted. For now, I'll just continue to make short trips to visit my husband. In the end, all of the extra trips should work in my favor anyway (although it can be a bit expensive).

That definitely is an interesting read! I cant believe it could possibly take that short a time to really approve the I-130. I wonder how many I-130 petitions they generally have to sort through...i couldnt even hazard a guess!

I'm Vermont. I haven't really been seeing any recent VSC approvals. All the recent ones I've seen seem to all be CSC. I hope they start to pick up the pace soon for everyone's sake.

IIRC, piglett is Vermont as well, but I think most of us are CSC. It will be interesting to see in the wake of the transfer (CSC to TSC) if the CSC starts picking up speed in approving I-130 petitions.

I noticed on another thread there where 3 September filers approved this week..so whoohooo..less for them to do and hopefully get to us sooner they where all csc filers if my memory is correct..

so have I glad to see i'm not the only one..but for everyone that gets approved ..it makes me feel one step closer hopefully and maybe not the whole 5 month waiting...

Yeah definitely1 Im with you guys! Its just a strange situation, as while the September filers are going through, there are still many July and August filers who have yet to hear anything...strange, strange methods the USCIS have!

Yeah i dont know how they do things there..and i feel bad for the July and August filers ...it doesn't seem to me they're cases are moving at all:(...some one said there was alot of AOS done at that time and it bogged CSC down....i just hope they keep moving things along..especially since holidays are coming up..

lets hope our bunch doesn't get the whole transfer from one-center-to-the-other treatment that some of the July/Aug filers got. many of them are even being told they got tacked on another 180 days wait.

yes i seen that too...that would just kill me.. 5 months seems like forever already and my number doesnt work yet at uscis so i cant tell if they have touched mine or not..been a month and it still says error.. can i call to find out if its been touched or should u only bug them when its over 5 months or something else they deem important?

i think as long as you have your NOA1 then just wait on it. i know it would be nice to check on the status of your paperwork but the truth is, there isn't much to check. you get a few "touches" which could mean anything and it's all waiting from there.
