I do this thread!

I always answer for certain people, but other people I just roll my eyes and hit ignore. I answered my phone during sex a few times to make a point to the person that it was really ####### and I was over it. Now I don't even look at my phone during sex even if I'm expecting a call from someone. If there was a bigger ####### war between men who wanted me I may have to ditch the smaller ####### for the larger one

I definitely don't match the finds of female phone behavior then.

I don't answer the phone if I don't see who's calling and don't recognize the number, or am not expecting a specific call.

For the odd numbers I usually do a search before calling back - I get way too many spam calls to bother to answer the numbers I don't recognize any more.

And for the people whose numbers I recognize as callers - if I can't talk some moment (in car, shopping, at pool etc) I'll simply call them later.

I never answer others phone - including my mum's landline when visiting her (even when she would want me to - it's not my phone and I have no interest in talking with her friends).

So.. I guess I answer maybe 20-40 % of the calls, the rest go screened or callback. But very rarely because of some interesting activities that the research suggested

Okay, TMI time from the Maven:

Yesterday, when my boyfriend was over, after lunch we decided to make our way to the bedroom from the living room. I picked up my phone to double-check there were no work emails that were pressing, and as I was doing so I accidentally accepted a call from my soon-to-be-ex. He was extremely chatty, and I had to fob him off with a story that I was just about to go into a meeting, but could I call him in an hour or so? I felt TERRIBLE for both of them.

but i thought you cared about the #######, regardless of size.
