Man, you can't be the only one! This will be a very lonely thread if that's the case! ;-)

I sent mine Oct. 6th; package was received Oct. 8th...No word yet. :(

Well I guess I shouldn't get antsy until next week about getting an e-mail notification for my I-130 then... Good luck!

I got my e-mail notification! Any news on your end?

Awesome! No news yet on my I-130. Kind of surprised it took seven business days for you just to receive an e-mail notification, but I was told I'd need to be patient during this process, haha. I guess I won't get worried unless I haven't gotten mine by Friday.

Congrats! :)

My friend who received her green card in August told me to file my application by September. I was worried that October filers might need to wait longer...maybe the peak season has begun. I saw some September filers who received their e-mail notification within two days.

All the best to you! It's strangely therapeutic to think that I'm not alone in this process! :)

We sent the whole pack I-485 etc to Chicago Oct 4th, arrived Oct 6, received text messages and emails Oct 14th, checked online status same day (couldn't wait!) and we're in Initial Review stage for the 4 main forms. Received our NOA1s in the mail Oct 17th, notice date 14th. So far so good!

Just wondering if any one who's filed in October 2010 has received their invitation to biometrics and fingerprinting yet? Also, where did your packs get routed to? Mine is at the MSC/National Service Center even though I mailed to Chicago. Is that good or bad???

It looks at though the MSC/NBC only processes I-765 and I-131's? What happens with the concurrently filed I-485 and I-130? Will they be transferred to another Service Center?

Mine was transferred to the NBC too. I found this helpful:

"The NBC was established to serve as the hub and conduit for USCIS local field offices by completing all pre-interview processing of Forms generally requiring an interview. This pre-processing includes conducting background security checks, performing initial evidence reviews, adjudication of associated I-765 and I-131 applications (filed with the I-485 or separately), denial of adjustment of status cases for applicants who are statutorily ineligible, and forwarding scheduled cases to the USCIS local office for adjudication."

Were you able to check your status on the day you received the e-mail/text notification? I can't access mine yet. :(

It is, isn't it? I'm really happy to have found this forum.

Well, I just got bombarded with e-mails and text messages, so the USCIS has finally acknowledged receiving my package. Checks still haven't been cashed, so I guess I have another few days (at least) before they mail the NOA1.

Hi ontherocks,

Yes I was able to check the status of the forms the same day. You definitely entering the right code? Ie MSC etc minus the dashes? Initially I thought they sent me like 11 duplicate emails/txts but then I noticed the MSC numbers were different in some. In total I can see 4 files in my portfolio online (you have to add each one when you sign up). I-485, I-765, I-131 and I-130. Their notices are dated 14th Oct which is about a week after it was delivered. Did you send to Chicago Lockbox?

My checks were cashed the day I received the notifications. Congrats - we're one tiny step closer!

I copy and pasted the codes from the e-mail notifications they sent me. I have my I-765 already (I'm on F-1) and I don't need I-131. Yeah, I sent my package to the Chicago Lockbox. =/

I wouldn't stress out. To be honest, if you have the I-765 and I-131, the other two are formalities, no? Since the I-131 allows me to travel and the I-765 allows me to work, I'm mostly interested in getting those back asap. I'm going a bit crazy not being allowed to work... I was told that even unpaid volunteer work isn't allowed ergh.

I applied for my I-765 around March/April and received it in July. I received an RFE for my pictures (!!) or it would have been sooner. Hang in there!
