This is true. Approved is good but it doesn't guarantee anything. The consulate told my husband he was approved and it was another 4 months before he saw his visa. This is after the consular officer told him he'd get the visa in 2 weeks. You shouldn't have quit your job or sold your car so quickly. But who knows, you may get your visa next week. You just never know with these people.

" hey i had " you are approuved " and i sold everything i had here and i did leave my work, do you thinks its eazy ?

what's matters to you? what are you doing or what people think about what are you doing?

well we are not all the same, maybe when it happened to you, you did nothing you did just wait, someone else will do something else go to the go to court for example ;-) cuz if people will be denieded after an " you are approuved " in the interview that mean they should remove the word "approved" from the english dictionary or change his explanation. if that say dosnt matter than they shuld not give an answer during the interview, you come you pass your interview and in the end they just tell you ok we will give you a call, without answer.

what's matters to you? what are you doing or what people think about what are you doing?

Hahahaha go to court for what? Immigration isn't a right, it's a privilege. Go to court and cry because my husband didn't get his visa in the time frame he was told he would? Which court would I go to about this? The court of being treated unfairly in my opinion? The court of I didn't get what I wanted when I wanted it? This is funny.

Just chill dude. Don't do anything until you have the visa in your hand.

In our case we were told we were approved and would receive the visa in 2-3 weeks along with 4 other people on VJ having interviews at the same place that day. They each received their visa within days to a few weeks which was unprecedented for a MENA consulate really. However, even though we were told the same as the others that day we had to wait 5 months and 1 week in Administrative Processing (AP) and Administrative Review (AR) until we received our visa in hand finally. You may be approved but it's up to the discretion of the consulate when they will issue the visa and if they will still issue the visa. JVTA is right in that some visa approvals have been cancelled after the matter has been approved. AP & AR are highly typical for MENA consulates. You may be approved and have to wait several months up to several years in AP/AR for your visa. While others get their visa quickly.
