After submitting documents and I 864, and joint I 864 I got RFE.

NVC has reviewed the financial evidence submitted. However, additional information is required to

complete the financial evidence review. The checklist below indicates missing or incomplete

documents. In order to make corrections you will need to download a new form at

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov. You will need to complete and submit a new form with the changes

noted below. Please provide all requested documents and refer to page two for mailing instructions.

Supporting Documents missing or incomplete

[x] You have not attached the proof of ownership and value of each of the following assets:

[x] Savings/checking accounts [ ] Real Estate [ ] Stocks, bonds, certificates of deposit and other assets.

"

Q. Does it mean- do I need to resubmit again I 864 documents (including joint I 864) or just mine (they put my name on FRE). ??

Q.On the form section "Asset" I just mentioned $1400 on my checking account. Should delete and resubmit again or just retype the same thing and attach Bank statements?

Note that they did not mention anything about joint sponsor

I would really appreciate.

Thanks and regards

If your income is good enough, probably you can take out that asset section and re-submit the AOS package.

Or if you have bank statements, you can attach those and re-submit.

I don't have any income. So I use son-in-law for joint sponser (I864). Should I sent his documents again?

If your SIL has enough income, it is fine.

Yes send all the documents again.

If you have any RFE letter in hand, you can include it as well. Don't forget to put the NVC Case# and all other details while responding.

Looks like you are using co-sponsor, who's income is sufficient to meet the AoS requirement. I recommand you delete the $1,400 from you I864 package and resubmit. Make sure you fill in all the information. Your co-sponsor's I864A hasn't changed but go ahread and include that with your package again. It's better to be safer than sorry.

Quick question on that: all that swection is 'Optional' and I have nothing to put in there... Do I leave it blank or do I put o? If I put N/A or NONE the form changes it to 0... But if there is a 0 in there would they ask proof? (I know it sounds silly but who knows!). And if I leave it blank would they RFE for not puting N/A? :PPP Confused!!

come on now stop confusing people. go read the form instructions carefully. they are pretty much self explanatory for I864. Now stop confusing others and asking silly questions.

it clearly states if your salary etc exceeds the poverty line you may skip directly to part 8 on I864.

go to page 5 and read the four lines on the top of the page. it can't be more clear than that, it says SKIP not putting ZERO or N/A. I hope you know the meaning of SKIP.
