A W2 without an accompanying copy of the complete tax return is useless. He'll need either a complete copy of his tax return for 2009, including all supporting documents - W2's, 1099's, whatever, or an IRS transcript of the tax return. If he gets an IRS transcript then he won't need to submit any W2's or 1099's. He'll also need to submit proof that he's either a US citizen or LPR. The consulate may also want a letter from his employer stating when he begin working there and how much he is paid.

You also have to submit either a copy of your tax return or an IRS transcript of the return. An employment letter and paystubs will likely not be enough.

Be aware that the embassy in Manila is known to not accept co-sponsors most of the time in K visa cases.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

A cosponsor would need to complete their own affidavit of support and include all the required documentation. For the I-134, the cosponsor's income/assets are stand alone. They are not combined with the primary sponsor's income/assets.

Demonstrating current and ongoing income that meets the requirement is important. Bring several months of recent paystubs along with a letter from your employer stating job title, wage/salary, and length of time employed. If your income prior to spending time in PI was strong go ahead and bring transcripts showing that as well. It can only make you a stronger candidate.

If your income is as you state then it's likely that a cosponsor will not be required.

So the only form he must fill out as a co sponsor is the I134?

Correct, unless the embassy would request something else. The important thing for any sponsor/cosponsor is to include all the needed supporting documents as Jim indicated earlier. Do some reading in the PI regional forum to get a sense of what's expected.
