Appease my ignorance.. why if hezbollah can be considered freedom fighters, why didn't the lebanese army fight back the isreali army? Thats like having people invade the US and our military sit back while the black panthers fight the battle.

I think only about 300 are Lebanese. The rest are described as Palestineans.

Our army would come in and detain the Black Panthers (or depending on who you listen to- flood their neighborhoods with crack). But then our army is more powerful than the Black Panthers so we could do that. I've not read where the Lebanese government gives a hoot about the prisoners in Israel either.
