I have received my case number via talking to a live human.

We have received both the DS-3032 kit/IIN number & AOS package via email but the NVC case # is still NOT in the AVRS.

It have been 20 days since NOA2 & our NVC case# is still not in the AVRS - so I would advise to be proactive.

USCIS

07-20-2010: I-130 package mailed.

07-22-2010: I-130 Package Received - Priority Date.

07-29-2010: Received text & email from USCIS - Notice Date.

07-30-2010: Check Cashed by USCIS.

08-02-2010: Received NOA1 hard copy.

08-02,04,05: Touched.

09-28-2010: Received text & email - petition approved.

10-04-2010: Received NOA2 hard copy.

NVC

10-13-2010: NVC Case# Received (after calling).

10-15-2010: Emailed DS-3032 to NVC.

10-16-2020: Received the DS-3032 package, IIN number & AOS bill via email.

10-22-2010: Paid AOS bill ($88) - showing IN PROCESS

10-25-2010: AOS fee PAID.

10-27-2010: Express Mail AOS Package.

10-27-2010: Paid IV bill - showing IN PROCESS.

10-28-2010: AOS package delivered.

Same here - No NVC Case# in AVRS. HumanTM gave it to me.

Since DOB issue still not corrected, I am unable to by-pass most of the human's initial questions for further details. NVC is giving hard time since the beginning :devil:

so I received my case number on Monday (11 days after approval) but it was not until Tuesday that it was updated on the AVRS. So my question is do I continue to be proactive by having my wife email the DS3032 or wait for them to send the kit?

As of now, wait 13 days before calling NVC for your case number. You don't have to get a person to get your case number. Just use the automated voice response system. First select none Haiti related case. Then listen to the promp until you can enter your USCIS case number. If you have an NVC case number, the AVRS will give it to you. If they don't have it, they'll just repeat they don't know about the case. Call a few times a day when 13 days have passed since your NOA2. Calling before then is a waste of time. And trying to get a human before knowing there's a NVC case number is also a waste of time.

To OP, since you know they have a your case, you should be able to get your case number using the AVRS. If you haven't already. I didn't bother to read the whole thread before replying. So yeah. Good luck.

Guys,

Interestingly, my NVC AVR still says - "No record found". But the ball is in their court now and I am going to relax now :star:

The embassy in Accra Ghana, is the worse U.S. embassy in the world. My case is completed at the NVC since May 11th and yet we did not have an interview date. I found out from this site that in most countries people get their interview date just few days after NVC complete their case. I don`t know what is happening in Accra. It`s driving me nuts.

That's a terribly long wait. So sorry you have to go through this. :(

Don't feel completely alone though as I believe that some filers from Canada with June NVC petitions are just getting their interviews now!
