I didn't send a single sentence of chat or even a single picture of us. I didn't even send a cover letter like everyone else here seem to do. This is all I sent

  • I130 form
  • G325A for me
  • G325A for her
  • Copy of my citizenship certificate
  • Copy of my passport
  • Copy of our marriage certificate
  • Copies of our birth certificate
  • Her passport sized pictures

I received my 130 approval in 158 days. The conversations between my wife and me are personal. No one, absolutely no one, has the right to see them. To want to see them is gross violation of our fundamental human rights. Marriage certificates are legal documents admissible in all courts of the world as proof of marriage. That is what's sufficient for USCIS.

I understand it's different if you are applying for a fiance. The burden of proof lies on the person since there hasn't been a legal/civil marriage yet.

My thoughts exactly Indigoskies! Thats what I have sent in the I130 package.I will show only the log and no chats when asked for it.

It depends on what country are you in. There are a lot of fraud in some countries thus these people from those countries have to send in (a little more) supporting documents.

There are some people who only have to send the bare minimum & they will be fine. But for some countries that bare minimum WILL NOT surpass.

Just because it worked for you (you only had to send in the bare minimum) doesn't mean that it will work for someone/everyone else.

Remember there are required documents (no matter what country you are in) that are needed.

The best thing is to know where your/your spouse country stand & what "extra", if any, that you may have to send.

If, for any reason, that you have to send in some (more) supporting documents, then you do not have to send a truckload of support evidence - save that for the interview. It would be better if you send a few supporting documents/pages from various sources (chat, chat log, email, telephone, letters, pictures etc) and very important - organize & outline your evidence/package. Remember organization is key, I don't think that anyone at USCIS want to go thru a huge application looking for a particular document (s).

With my application, in addition to the cover pages, I had a summary/log at the beginning of each evidence, so it was very easy for anyone to find any document that they wanted.

Hi...when my husband and i applied for a fiance visa, we submitted evidence with intial application but then when i had my interview in Sydney i also had the same evidence along with more that had beenfrom the constant communication and my calling card statements were 80 pages, well actually 160 as they were printed both sides. They also got the opportunity to look at emails (with personal info and pictures blacked out),but honestly....these were skimmed through. That interview lasted around 5 minutes.Maybe i got lucky.I am currently in the process of applying under I-130 and expect that interview to be more in depth but have no concerns.I will however attach all evidence in last 7 mnths plus with that application again.Just don't want RFE back and forth.good luck
