Hi Everyone,

I just realized while I was reading over this forum today that I needed to submit a copy of my W-2 with my tax return for the form i-864. They just received my packet last Monday 10/4/10 so I havent received an RFE yet. I called USCIS to ask them where I could go ahead and send in my W-2s to and they said that I would just have to wait for an RFE. I really dont want to just wait for the RFE and slow down the process. Does anyone know where the best place to send in my additional documents or where they make you send the RFEs to? Thanks so much for the help.

AOS/EAD/AP sent: 10/14/2010

NOA I: 10/14/2010

Biometrics: still waiting

RFE:?

AP Approved: 12/09/2010

AP Received: 12/15/2010

EAD Approved: 12/09/2010

In this case, the information line is correct. You have to wait for the RFE to come in the mail. The good news is that if it gets caught early in the process when they are just going through a checklist before it gets to an adjudicator, you'll get it early on.

Agreed. You COULD send it in but it would be completely pointless because it would never reach your file and you'd have to send it when you get the RFE anyway...

Out of interest, did you send tax returns? Or IRS transcripts?

I just sent my tax returns. What a bummer I just hate that I just have to sit around and wait for the rfe. I wonder how much it will slow down getting the ead.
