:secret: i'm not a government employee, i work for a defense contractor. i.e. i'm a civilian.

The biggest crooks / scumbags of them all.

Funny how you have no problem with the private sector siphoning money from the public.

Quick question, who and what do you think funds these crooks?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

 Are you as dumb as that sounds?

HOW can the private sector "siphon" money from the public? Taxes? IT IS OUR MONEY! The government confiscates it and we get some of it back. What a #######.

But it is just thrilling to see all you liberals flopping like gut-hooked fish. Keep it up. Whatever you do, DO NOT fix problems in your method of government that would actually get free, independent people to vote for you.

Not a liberal, so that's your first fail in this post.

Second fail is your lack of acknowledgment that money is being siphoned from the public to the private.

Third fail is a fundamental one of yours. You consistently mention choice and freedom, well my choice is government. I also want taxes collected and utilized [invested] to advance the country. The day there are a higher number of batshit crazies than the rest of us, then you get your way.

Fourth fail revolves around you being right about one point. It is out money, therefore, we get to decide what happens with it.

Red herring. Nice try though.

I forgot about your line of work, so it does explain your usual silence regarding spending and the military. Or is the $1 trillion wasted annually an investment of our money, versus the few million to provide America kids with food or textbooks. Let alone billions to invest in American infrastructure that can last for years.

You're dodging the point. How does the $1 trillion military expenditure assist the average America or the economy? Why is it okay to borrow from China to pay for that, just not anything else? Why is wastage, okay in that sector? And I know there is wastage, as I've heard it firsthand from a a number of people who work in that area; from private contractors to auditors.

PS Australia doesn't need to borrow to fund anything. That's what happens when you collect taxes.

yes. but, i'm looking forward to posting replies to them even more. :)

Why because they will win office? Is that not how the game is played here for years? Repub president gets dem congress and vice versa.

One thing I will guarantee is that, when the economy continues to falter, the same people who have blamed Obama, will refuse to answer questions. Heck, I saw it before he was even in Office.

That's the great thing about elections. Everyone gets a chance to gloat from time to time.

Now that's the pot calling the kettle black.

Don't worry, he has "little man" syndrome. He can't reach the lip of the tea cup...he is still drinking kool-aid from a sippy cup.

Someone has missed their daily dose of haldol

you pay my salary? that's most amusing, considering i'm hourly.

now if you think you pay what i make, then pick one:

a-you are really an overpaid bureacrat

b-you need a new tax preparation service

You forogot option C Charles. I am not a bureaucrat Charles, but thanks for trying.

Did they really have their chance? I mean, what can you do in one year and nine months, when the economy is doing awesome, let alone during the worst financial crisis since the depression?

For me, I take country first literally. So when I see people in a country I am residing in suffering and the country falling apart, politics goes out the window and its time for real results. Politics is not some NFL game, where I get happy my team is winning. People's lives, Q.O.L and our future depend on it.

China is going to overtake and people are still going to be clinging on to tax cuts, anti-government and Reagan.
