Timeline

My finance (US Citizen) has filed our petition for I-129F to NSC. He received the NOA1 that the petition has been received june 21st 2006. We tried to look up on the internet (www.uscis.gov) to find out more about the processing time. When we checked end of june I-129 F was shown on the schedule but since july it is not posted any more. My finance tried to call NSC but the only answer was that he has to wait until 90 days until he should call again. Now I am a little bit worried that something might be wrong.

How can we find out about the status of our Petition?

And in addition to that, what kind of documents do I need when I got an interview at Frankfurt Germany?

It is so confusing and looking up different webpages does not really help because there are more and more informations!

Hopefully somebody can help me. :crying:

Thanks in advance!

To fill in your timeline, go to My Assistant, then Add/Edit Timelines.

Are you checking the status of your case this way?

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...c=27315&hl=

As far as documents for Frankfurt go:

Packet 3 contains a cover letter, a checklist with detailed instructions, instructions for the medical and some forms: DS 230, DS 156, DS 157, DS 156K

The USC will also need to provide an I-134 and it would be a good idea to have updated letters of intent written for both you and your fiance.

David is mailing his info back to Frankfurt tomorrow - next step is the medical (no appointment needed in Frankfurt) and the interview, as soon as it can be scheduled.

Hope this helps.

Jen

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Welcome to VJ happy! You can put June 21, 2006 as your NOA1 date, and fix it later if incorrect. Give's us a ballpark figure anyway. And you can list your country, and the service center etc.

If you want your timeline to appear at the bottom of your posts like many of us have chosen, go to My Assistant and the Edit Forums Signature (or My Controls and then Edit Signature) and type your information there.

And as far as your timeline goes, if you have not read this in other threads, your petition will be transferred from Nebraska to California. The NSC is not processing K1 petitions anymore but the I-129F continues to instruct petitioners to mail them to their original regional service center. This adds time to the processing, as you can see from my timeline.
