Which part? Him having been a mentor to Bernanke?

 Either Ben wasn't paying attention, or the theories he learned from his mentor failed him with Lehman Brothers.

That's odd seeing that it was a GOP controlled Senate that first confirmed Bernanke to the jopb and there were 26 GOP Senators who voted for his re-confirmation just this January. If he was good enough to be given the job in the first place and good enough to be re-confirmed less than 9 months ago, what's the opposition all of a sudden? Tell you what it is: baseless obstructionism.

Al Gore has compeltely destroyed the value of getting a Noble Prize. That sh*t used to be pretty good on a resume. Now you can't even get a government job with it and they don't need to make a profit.

Democrats don't have a lock on stupidity.

The Federal Reserve is another creation of Woodrow Wilson that should be allowed to expire.

So in other words, it doesn't matter who is appointed, you don't like it to begin with.

Do you even know what the word means?

Do you? Oh, here we go again with the rigid, non-contextual interpretation of language.

If your wife kept asking you if you like chocolate ice cream, then strawberry, then rocky road, on and on, and you gave a strong negative opinion of each and every suggestion, but not really because you don't like those flavors, but because you just don't like ice cream, that's being subjective. You don't like ice cream, henceforth, any flavor of ice cream you also don't like. So forming an opinion about the merits of rocky road ice cream from a guy who doesn't like ice cream to begin with is peculiar.

And here I thought you wanted to discuss Medieval philosophy.

The folks I would like to serve as governors of the various Reserve Banks, are ineligible by law, hence the problem with the system.

Like? Please enlighten me..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

You don't like the Federal Reserve, FDA, EPA, etc., but feel compelled to form an opinion about whether someone is qualified to work for those agencies. Maybe you and Paul could both find a nice island somewhere in the pacific where you two can share coconut recipes.

I've hated the world? Where? I think if you have a look at my posts over the years, there are a few things in common that you could say I hate. Not the world though.

PS You need to add to the list

AJ trolling vs AJ being sarcastic

Or better yet, ask how many times people have seen you actually make a legitimate post. For someone who has such a disdain for OT, VJ, the MOds and particular posters, you sure do hang out here a lot. In fact, you even registered a second screename because the server was filling up with the first; which is strange considering the initial observation of never posting anything legitimate.
