Hi,

I will be traveling next month. We have not decided the exact marriage date bcz we are yet to check the availability of family and friends on the dates we have in mind. Do they ask at POE abt what date are we getting married or any proof of marriage arrangements made? Can that be the problem at POE?

I can't speak for anyone else, but my fiance wasn't asked anything about wedding dates, etc at the POE in Houston. In fact, they didn't really ask him any questions. They just told him he had 90 days to get married and to make sure he gets his social security card. The process took about 5 minutes.

In our exoerience, NO. If they do, say that you have not decided yet.

Congratulations!

Your timeline is enviable, you are lucky! :)

I would encourage you to be honest. If asked, you could give the same answer you have given here. Best wishes!

They asked me and I said we're planning on Aug 22. Just be honest, should be fine.

No. They may remind you that you have 90 days in which to marry, to which you will answer, yes, I understand.

They may ask but you are not required to have a set date. They will just remind you to be married within the 90 days.
