I used to work in the RP and always had some sort of Visa while staying there. I have stayed on B2 and Travel Visa. I have made several trips without a visa with my return ticket comming in under the 21 day requirement. We are leaving on Oct. 21st and our return date on our current tickets is past the 21 day freebie period you get with just a passport. My question is this: Will me and my Amercian citizen son have any problems entering the RP without a Visa since our ticket goes past the 21 days. I plan on extending at the immigration bureau office on day 20. I have done this many times, but have never flown in with my ticket showing a departure date past the 21 days without a Visa.

Thanks for any help.

Wyatt

If they check at Immigration in Manila upon entry then you will have an issue. I have flown into Manila 30+ times and never been checked. I have seen a few get checked.

FYI: Trisha and I are in Manila now and return on the 21st to the US. Have a good trip.

Love forever,

Before we immigrated to the US, my husband stayed in the Philippines from late June to early August 2009. He applied for extension twice while he was there. We applied for the extensions through a travel agency. You shouldn't have a problem at all.

Before that, he'd been to the Philippines three times, between August 2008 and April 2009.
