Employment Letter - HELP

Hi guys. I'm currently working on getting my work verification letter from my employer. They asked me "Who should it be in regards to?" I guess they mean, who is it in reference to (who should the letter be in reference to)? U.S Immigration Services? Manila consulate? How should I respond to them? This is in regards to the Support of Affidavit (for my fiancee's interview). Thank you for your help....

I have had to have one two different times and each time I just had : To Whom It May Concern

Worked for me both times.

"To Whom it my concern" works.

There are many variations but in my opinion for the best results the letter should be on Company Letterhead and contain:

1) your name

2) your position or job description

3) your annual salary

4) your dates of employment (date you started to present)

5) the location of your job (city)

6) the date the letter was written

7) the signature of your HR rep or your boss

Since it will be presented at the US Embassy interview, it should be addressed to:

Immigration Officer, Immigrant Visa Branch

United States Embassy, Manila

1201 Roxas Boulevard

1000 Ermita, Manila, Philippines

I wrote my own letter of employment (self employed). I believe I wrote something like "Dear Honorable American Consulate of Manila". As for answering the question of your employer, it's a bit ambiguous. Just try to give them a complete rundown of the requirements, as what Zai & Gary wrote.

They actually didn't read my letter, because I was sitting there But I'm sure it was a good opening anyhow.
