Also,I already have my social security number(which said "authorized for work only") when i worked in US on L1-Visa.Will i have a different now? Do i have to go to the SSN office or do am i good to go?

I don't know when or even if the I-551 stamp in the passport expires. It is intended to be temporary, so you do need to chase up your actual card. If you check out the I-9, it does accept the I-551 stamp as evidence of being able to work (Item 3, list A). Most people never show their social security card to anyone, so they don't bother to get it changed, HOWEVER, it has been recommended to us by officials like the immigration officer at our interview that we get the social security number changed to an unrestricted number because Nik was now a perm. resident. There may be some flag in a database which could affect you in unforeseeable ways some time in the future, so you may as well get all your ducks in a row and get it changed to perm. resident too.
