Examples include, but are not limited to, the Shia/Sunni split, establishment and filtering of multiple schools of Islamic law 200 years later, the 19th century Wahabbi reformation in Saudi Arabia spreading around the globe, through today's constant reexamination regarding authority, interpretation, and application of the law of minorities in the west. Islam, being that it has no central authority, is perpetually dynamic and adaptive. It was intended to be that way.

The 78% of the world that is not Muslim, does not have a problem with the other. We now live in each others countries and get along like a house on fire. To some Muslims though, getting along evidently means converting to Islam or else. It's why every terrorist caught says this, including the latest clown in NYC. It's why western countries are waking up and rescinding citizenship, let alone Visas.

I think most of us understand that not all are guilty, however, when I see people deny Shariah law or that others are killing in the name of Islam, then they are either mentally deficient or truly brainwashed.

The interesting thing is that, yes, they don't make headlines, but that doesn't mean they don't happen. It's just that actions done by Christians, in particular, are not framed in religious terms in the west as are events caused by a single non-Christian or a group of non-Christians.

I get paid to examine the media for the think tank I partner with. Just last weekend, I saw a show about a Palestinian American doctor who was suspected of killing his wife and fleeing to Lebanon to escape US justice. Throughout the part where they described his time in Lebanon and a couple of other ME countries, the producers repeatedly ran Islamic chants in the background and showed views of mosques, intending, I'm sure, to give the impression that the perpetrator was Muslim.

All the media has to do is mention "Palestinian" and the idea that all Palestinians are Muslims of poor character is inferred. The fact is, their murderer is a Palestinian Christian, not a Muslim, Lebanon is not a predominately Muslim country, not all conflicts involve religion, and not all bad Arabs are observant Muslims.

Did they ever provide any of that information? No. That's an example of how it's done, and that's how westerners have been brainwashed into thinking Muslims are more violent than other groups.

No one is targeting Muslims because they are Muslims, so stop pretending this is the case. They are focusing on the almost weekly deaths in the name of Islam. For example, the loser caught in NYC, whose plan was to kill as many people as possible, in the name of Islam. Or the genocide and butchering that occur by Muslims around the world, in the name of Islam.

No one is sitting here and claiming that some Habibi shooting another Habibi, did so because they are Muslims or is related to region. Whereas, the aforementioned scenarios are clearly in relation to forcing Islam onto others, by means of intimidation and death. When was the last time a Jew went into a Palestinian school and deliberately killed the children? When was the last time a Christian went into a Hindu School or Buddhist school or vice versa and killed kids of differing faiths? I am sure you will dig something up from the year 1346; however, how many times have the above scenarios or their equivalent occurred in the last decade from each religion?

Find me 1 example from this year where you have 1 person or 1 group of a religion (non-Muslim) carrying out an act of terror that kills 40 or more people of another religious group (non-Muslim). Better yet see if you can find 1 example. I'll make it easier, an act of terror that killed 2 or more people...

Explosion at Shiite Protest Kills at Least 40 in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — A blast ripped through a Shiite protest, the second such attack in three days, in the southwestern Pakistani city of Quetta on Friday, killing at least 40 people and wounding 80, police and rescue officials said.

It was not immediately clear whether the bomb was detonated by a suicide bomber or a remote-controlled device, and there were no claims of responsibility.

Militants are intensifying their violent attacks to pressure a government that has been struggling to cope with devastating monsoon-driven floods, described as the worst in the country’s history.

The attack was aimed at a procession of Shiite Muslims who were part of nationwide marches to mark “Al Quds Day,” an annual protest to express solidarity with Palestinians and to condemn Israel.

It came just two days after three suicide bombers struck a Shiite procession in the eastern city of Lahore, killing 31 people and setting off violent demonstrations by infuriated survivors.

I've been here long enough to know that that's not true. Articles about singular Muslims doing anything criminal have been posted on the OT as a means of demonstrating that Muslims as a whole are demented due to Islam. Something that I'm not allowed to do is rather common here; that is, separate Christian from violent. A Christian who commits any violent act on any number of persons is just as violent as a Muslim who commits an act of violence on any number of persons. To me, there is no difference in the fact that they did evil, but, to you, the reason they did evil is important.

It's important because it allows you to demonise a faith and a people, something that doesn't happen to Christians, despite the fact that people who embrace Christianity have committed more violence today and throughout history (they had a large head start) than Muslims have.

I don't have to go back to cite the history of Chrstian violence throughout history, so you can just ignore it. The FBI has compiled acts of terrorism from 2002-2205 on its website. You would know about it if you'd leave the hate sites long enough to get valid information. I have linked to the more easily readable list below.
