Hi All,

Just to remind you all that initially it was me that has raised this question. ‘’what exactly 90 days window mean – No latter or No earlier???????????????????????

Some of you are making jokes out of this by saying it is common sense when it says 90 days it means 90 days!!!!! Is it? Let me ask you all this:

1. What if this package get lost in the post ?

2. what if the courier service claims that they delivered it and have prove but for some reason USCIS has no record (this happened to a friend of mine)?

There's no jokes. 90 days is 90 days.

1. If not received before the expiry date, denied due to not receiving package & given 30 days to leave the country.

2. If not received before the expiry date, denied due to not receiving package & given 30 days to leave the country.

I believe there's a right to appeal but basically USCIS think 90 days is enough time to get the paperwork to them. If you leave it too late (one person did it in the last 2 weeks, mail didn't arrive so it was returned to him... He was given 30 days to leave the country and I think he had to appeal though I don't recall his exact case) then that's your fault.

Sorry, but 90 days MEANS 90 days.

My suggestion is to count backwards from the expiration date, expiration date is day 90 (90, 89, 88, 87, 86..) and then add atleast 5-10 days to your answer (day 1) then mail the package, that way if the mail or uscis loses your package, you will have ample time to resend the package.

My second suggestion is make copies of the complete package before you mail it incase you need to resend it.
