My Verizon phone upgrade time is approaching. Been working with a BB 8830 for the past few years. I've heard lots of good things about the HTC phones.

Any input ?

My wife has the iphone. Doesn't really do it for me. My sister has the HTC Incredible and really likes it.

Looking for input from a larger pool of users.

I like to read the CNet reviews of things. They go over the features and everything so you can select a device based on the features you need/want. I found it to be really helpful when I was trying to select my phone. Also, does Verizon have stores where all the phones on the shelves are real and activated so you can do test calls and try out the basic apps and web features? Before I got mine I spent a good 3 hours dorking around in the AT&T store trying the 3 phones I'd narrowed down online side by side.

Sorry I can't comment on the relative virtues of the various Android phones, except to say that when my contract is up next year I'm really looking forward to getting one!!!

There has been lots of rumors about this for some time now. Do you have a link for a reputable source?

That's pretty much the same thing that has been floating around from many different sources for the past 6 months or so. No new information.

Yeah, I guess the WSJ is 6 months behind the rumor mill.

I've seen the droid and I really like it. I don't mind the iPhone 4 (my sister just got one) but I will never get AT&T. i loved my iPhone 3GS but moving from Australia I didn't want to get an AT&T SIM to make it work.

Until Apple solve some of the glitches common to iPhone i will be a Droid convert.. well.. I WILL be a Droid convert once I have a job 'cause I don't want my hubby to pay for my expensive phone taste :P

There have been so many rumors, you'd think that it is bound to happen. Check this out.

You can go to the last several pages and read about the WSJ article.

I lost my phone then upgrade to the DROID X last month, it's pretty cool, a little big due to the screen size, so you can watch a movie there on the go. Lot of apps, since it's the android OS. lot of free apps

I have the HTC Hero on the sprint network and really love it. It does everything (and more) that I need it to do. My husband has the same phone and we have not had any issues with them quality wise.

I have the HTC EVO from Sprint. Way cool phone. On the positive side, Android has a USCIS app, where you can check the status of your case.
