Greetings, I am so glad I could find this forum on the internet.

All this visa procedure is very confusing..

Here is my situation.

I am Canadian citizen living in South Korea, got married to my wife on May 1st, 2010.

At the time we were thinking about living in South Korea for next 2-3 years,

so we weren't paying attention to what needs to be done to live in US.

Last week we got a call from her family saying that they need some help with their business

and suggested us to move to the states. The dates we are planning to enter US is December 13th. 2010.

While I was looking for an information on what needs to be done, I found out that I need to acquire visa before I can enter the US.

Now rises the question, because there are such short time for us to get it ready,

is it possible to enter US and apply for the immigration in US?

It's because if I have to wait, I have no place to stay since we have to get rid of the house, car, and all the furnitures before leaving Korea.

Any help would be greatful. Would the lawyer help the most in this case?

*edit*

my wife stayed in Korea for 1 year and 3 months, and I was in Korea for 4 years and 3 months if that changes anything..

You cannot enter the US and then apply for immigration. Doing so could constitute fraud - entering as a tourist with intentions of immigrating. That's bad news.

2 months may not be enough time to do this, the quickest way you can do this is to file your petition via direct consular filing

Be prepared, get started and get organized. If your wife MUST leave in 2 months, you have a lot of work to do

Good luck

Thank you all for the advice. Since my wife is stayed in Korea for year and half, my best bet would be DCF way I assume.

Time to call the consulate. Thank you for the help. If there's anything else I need, I know where to come look for it.

Thank you again ;)
