Besides, why should you have to alter your (completely unoffensive) behavoir because of her kids? The world doesn't revolve around them.

I remember being in a bar and this lady telling my friend to put out his cigarette because of her baby -- uh, lady, it's a BAR not a nursery. (yes, she brought her baby to a bar)

Once I read Jaguars, I didn't read the rest of your story--Jacksonville, so what do you expect. Now had it been a college football game maybe it would have been different.

So tonight, me and 11 of my closest friends went to a Jaguars game (NFL). We had a nice tailgate and went to our seats. We weren't drunk, obnoxious or anything.

So we sit down and Stewart leans into me and puts his arm around me...kinda snuggling. Then, every five minutes or so, he would give me a kiss on the cheek or the arm. Nothing vulgar, just loving...like newlyweds I guess...

Anyway THEN the anouncer comes on and says, "It's the kiss-cam. Grab your partner and pucker up to get on camera" So he kissed me on the mouth, briefly, no tongue, no spit swapping...nothing

Well this woman sitting behind me kept making comments "There's little kids here" "That's gross, let me get a puke bag" "Could they just stop for like...a minute" and kept making comments like that for about 20 minutes. NEVER, except that ONE time did he even touch my mouth.

Finalyl I turned around and said, "Do you have a problem?" And she said it was disgusting that he couldn't keep his mouth off of me." She said she had little kids with her.

I said, "Ma'm...we arne't drunk, we aren't smoking, we arne't cursing...we are just newlyweds enjoying eachothers company"

Then her husband says "Why don't you just turn around and watch the game " and I said, "I would love to but I can't enjoy it over your wife's comments"

They kept making mean comments and I left. I was almost in tears. i mean...were we wrong? I don't get it...I'd say her kids (about age 10 or so) would have remembered her making a huge deal of it over him kissing me on the arm every now and then.

She ruined my night and I'm pizzed off...just had to vent.

i'd not worry about it, she's probably peeved that she's not getting any :P

I agree..

those people behind you were a couple of Chops..

that reminds me of a few months back when I was with my now ex-boyfriend. we were walking down the street and he gave me a peck ON THE CHEEK. A car drove by and yelled out the window "get a room!!" #######?! this country is full of puritans! I'm not even with the guy anymore, and I still get mad thinking about that incident.

timeline doesn't matter.

Congrats for having said something to her! I'm also not a confrontational person, so I realize how much it must have taken for you to muster the courage/annoyance to say something. B)

:hehe: After her comment I would of had to have done a bit of tongue action out of spite!

LOL Bethanie that's exactly what I was thinking!!! Along with running my hand up my husband's leg and squeezing the inside of his thigh!!

After which I would have turned around and asked her which Cabbage Patch her little darlings sprouted in.

god, rebecca, i LOVE you!!!!!!

karo, im sorry that woman ruined your night... that was absolutely ridiculous and your friends rock... i think i would have just crawled over and sat in my hubbys lap and played with his hair and been kissing him...

these same parents, objecting to loving and tame displays of affection, probably have no issue with their kids watching movies/tv shows with extreme violence or playing first person shooter games

its very, very sad

did i mention, your friends rock??

and only then, will you find the meaning of happiness."
