I'd say any place where a British accent isn't considered weird. the northern part of the East Coast is nice, and some cities on the West Coast.

some places think it's weird? I love it!!!!! I'd sit and listen to them speak all day long :) northern part like maine? new hampshire? massachusetts? new york??

some people think that any accent that is not their neighborhood's is weird. I mean that as a foreigner I prefer living in a place where they don't question me suspiciously about my origin all the time.

It also depends what kind of job you are looking for: finance in NY, law in NY and Mass., Govt jobs (for the USC spouse, not for the foreign one) in the DC area (Virginia, Maryland).

Yeah, I know when I was over there in Essex I CONSTANTLY got asked where I was from, but when I was in London it didn't bother anyone? However I didn't mind because it was mostly dans friends and they're sweet about it :) After I explained my story, we all seemed to get along quite well :) I love Virginia as well, we went there on vacation and it's gorgeous there. However I'm more business oriented with my degree :) I love your suggestions, I might look into virginia though!

here they ask me if I'm British, over there they ask me if I'm American. I'd prefer not being asked, but that's how it is. either way it means that I can hide my accent quite well :)

you may also want to check in California, although it's not a great moment to find a job here.

and Chicago.

Oh yeah? I get made fun of a bit sometimes when I come home because apparently every once in awhile when I say something, I sound a bit british? I dunno, because I don't realize it lol. Yeah, I think I'd like something moreso on the East Coast though because it's closer to home as well. I'm focusing on Marketing though with my Business Degree here at uni. :)

Oh I really don't know, I went to NY only once and for a few days. I'd say to start checking online, there are plenty of websites with job offers, it mainly depends what you're looking for, or you can also contact those head hunters that do the search for you and put you in touch with employers.

I know head hunters work a lot in the banking and legal field, I don't know about marketing but why shouldn't they? you can search on google typing "head hunter marketing new york" or other key words like that.

NY is lovely but on the expensive side. PA isn't too bad and there's everything here, nature and cities, I'd look more around the big cities tho, like Philly or Pittsburgh, as Harrisburg, the capital, and where I'm from doesn't have much in the business area.

I've been to Kennywood in Pittsburgh; I think it's a national treasure as far as

amusement parks go - it has the best of the old and the new as well
