I have my interview November 8th at 8.30am, What is the best form of transport and cheapest too. Can you share you experience with the medical and embassy interview. And because the embassy have my passport then to put the visa, how can I fly back or do i have to stay in London till they mail me it there.

I would take a taxi, or stay somewhere very close and walk over. My husband stayed at the Marble Arch Inn which is very close to the embassy and he said it was not too bad for the price. You can fly domestically without a passport, you just need another form of formal identification to use when you come back home.

As AmyKathleen2005 said, you can travel domestically without your passport, so you don't have to stay in London until the visa is issued.
