Hello peeps!

There's no one I can ask about this but just this website which I am sure I can get some answers because I think mostly of the members here are Filipinos??? (not sure..hehehe)... It's almost Christmas and I want to send gifts or a package to my family in the Philippines.. I want to give them a Christmas present but I don't know the cheapest way to send a package from California to the Philippines... Guys, any suggestions????

Use google.There are many websites where you can purchase gifts for your famliy and they will deliver to them in your country.Sorry i dont know any website name for Phili ,but you can search easily in google.

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!

get a balikbayan box there in California, and fill it up with the gifts.

check out Manila Forwarders as they are the most reliable forwarder there, at hindi fly-by-night

it's getting late, and you should have those gifts packed and that Balikbayan box filled up before the end of October, kasi masyadong maraming packages at that time, baka ma-delay. it normally takes 6 weeks for it to arrive, but with Xmas season, baka abutin ng 2 months.

i'm not sure of the rates, but I think it's still at $70-120 per box, at walang weight limit. tax-free din ito sa customs.

BTW, don't buy on online shops here in the Phils. super overpriced, minsan 2-3x ang presyo. pero mas maganda na rin yan, kaysa sa mga presyo dyan sa US.

it's best if you can find someone to shop for you here, and repackage and send them to your family & friends.

I am sending out a box today via Atlas Shipping. They are charging me $100 to send box to Mindanao. No weight restrictions on box. My friend pays $65 to ship boxes over but that is just to Manila. I can find name if you are interested.

Forex is good but expensive. We are trying out Aerosend this year because they have lower prices. Orient Star took almost 3 months to arrive in Manila :wacko: .

Another vote for sending via balikbayan box. It is, by far, the cheapest way to go.

Where is your location? Usually, there are balikbayan forwarders in most cities.
