AOS Status remained UNTOUCHED

Hello guys.

We filed our AOS last May of this year (see my timeline) and have been constantly updating the USCIS website since then, 5 months have passed and still it remained UNTOUCHED, not one notice for interview, RFE, nothing. I have researched in the forums that the average waiting timeline in my local office is only 3 months from the date of NOA1 receipt and now I am starting to worry. On the brighter side, I have already received my AP and EAD however, I am just deeply concerned that the AOS delay might be caused by major issues.

Any advices? Anyone experiencing the same thing?

Have you checked with other May filers in the progress thread? here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/255453-may-2010-filers/ I can see at least one (I only read the last page) that is still waiting.

FWIW, my AOS cases (I-485, I-765, and I-131) remained untouched through the entire process, except for once. They were all touched exactly once, on the day after my biometrics appointment.

A touch just means someone checked them out of the system by scanning the barcode they put on your file. If your case is simple and straightforward, it may very well be adjudicated in one sitting by an adjudicator, and you may not see any touches until "Card Production Ordered."

Hi Vanessa&Tony. I did check the timelines of the may filers but most of them got their gcs in 3 to 4 months time. Thanks for reminding me about the thread though.

Hi, mine remained completely and utterly untouched since April 1st, no notice of transfer of the case to California (my service center), no texts, no updates on online, nothing. The only thing that came in the meantime was our biometrics appointment, after which my husband got is Advanced Parole document and EAD. On the USCIS Status Update page my status remained at "Acceptance" the whole time. Then, last week out of the blue came our appointment letter for the green card interview. So don't worry, something will probably come soon. However, you can call the number on your NOA receipt and talk to someone, because it is taking longer than it should, so you are entitled to call.

Ours is the same.

We got the biometrics letter, the transfer to CSC notice, the EAD/AP, and then nothing since.
