Just in case anyone may have been following Marcel's situation with the incorrect year of birth on his passport (should be 1980 not 1983) etc... I spoke with a woman in the Consulate's Office at the Us Embassy in Cyprus two days ago and she stated that they don't go by what is on the passport, but rather the Birth Certificate. The Birth Certificate is a more substantial form of ID she said. Also, the affidavit from the courts if Nigeria was good to have too. So it is all good and we will be sending in the first documents Monday to hopefully start the ball rolling with his interview date.
