So Alex's AOS was sent to the CSC for processing. Is that good, bad or what? lol

10/21/09 Mailed I-129f to VSC

10/27/09 Check Cashed

10/30/09 NOA 1

01/08/10 NOA2 Email Notification

01/12/10 NVC received petition

01/16/10 Received both NOA2 and NVC Notice in the mail.

01/25/10 London sent mail that they received packet

03/09/10 Sent packet with forms to London. Waiting for interview date

04/09/10 Alex's medical is scheduled

04/16/10 Received interview letter!

05/07/10 Alex's interview in London!

05/07/10 --VISA APPROVED!!!-- YAY!

06/28/10 Alex's POE in Houston, TX

07/20/10 Married <3

08/30/10 - Sent AOS/EAD/AP forms

09/13/10 - Received Email Confirmation for USCIS receiving AOS/EAD/AP

Usually it means the application will be approved without an interview...though I wouldn't quote me on that yet...I've also read some entries where cases were transferred to CSC then back again to the Benefits Center or to another office.

For now, I'd say assume it is good news until you receive word from USCIS otherwise. :)

02-23-2018: Sent N-400 Application online

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!

Usually it means the application will be approved without an interview...though I wouldn't quote me on that yet...I've also read some entries where cases were transferred to CSC then back again to the Benefits Center or to another office. sent to a black hole, leaving you waiting for months and months wo/ knowing what is going on with your case.

For now, I'd say assume it is good news until you receive word from USCIS otherwise. :)

I had the same thing happen to my AOS it got sent to CSC and then after about 5/6 months we were told it was being sent back to our local office and a letter for interview would be sent, we were in the interview for less that 15 mins and got approved, not sure why they did this but guess it is just your luck if your chosen for an interview...don't worry am sure all will be fine. good luck

there are around 20 billion threads on this exact statement. CSC usually means no interview (usually, not always). CSC usually means it'll go quicker (used to be, now not so much apparently).
