My AOS application is pending and will be waiting for so long probably... Just wondering if anyone lives near me? (Jacksonville Florida) send me an IM for my cel number...

A lot of bored spouses.. come out come out lets hang out :P

Staying at home makes me soooo crazy.

By the way I dont know how to drive. lol. :bonk:

Try joining a club as well. I plan to join a book club and painting club when I move. Craigslist is a good option for meeting just friends as well, but I would recommend sticking solely to the strictly platonic section and keep your meetings public (the mall, starbucks, etc) and only with members of the same sex for safety (especially if you haven't met people before). Men on there often say they are looking for friends, but want something more.

I have met a couple of people in California this way. People my age with similar tastes, and even a fellow Canadian :)

Contacted congressman's office with inquiry to expedite AP: January 12th 2011
EAD approved: January 13th
EAD received: not sure, I was overseas, but I know it arrived between January 24th and 28th
AP approved - no update on USCIS; I was notified of approval by Congressman: January 13th
AP received: January 21st
Started job hunting: February 11th
Interview: March 7th @ 2.35 pm - GC APPROVED!
Received GC in mail: March 14th
