That's a good sign. I suspect you will receive a notice for a second interview and things will proceed from there. Good luck!

Thanks Kathryn, hopefully should get another interview.

Good luck to you, any updates from the local office?

Thanks M, I havent heard back yet. She did say that it could take 30-45 days. Will wait till about Nov 3rd week and see, if not, will set another Infopass and talk to them.

Praying that I hear from them before that and its good.

I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks siasimba.

I called and got an update that my local office has requested my case on Oct 14th (Havent recieved it yet), and after reviewing it the local office will decide if they will give me another interview date. The guy also said it takes around 30 business days.

I hope I get one as I went by the books and did everything that was required.

Will wait till around 35 business days or so and then set up an infopass, thats if I dont hear back by then.

Will keep updating.... and still praying.

Oh this is great news! congratulations - I'm so pleased it has finally happened.

It was crazy and nerve-wrecking to say the least. The worst was when I got the denial even though I did everything by the books, but at the end everything worked out and Im excited.

Voh6291, did you get any updates/email after the GC interview? Did the IO take your I-94?

I got an email saying that my Card is under production, thats the only thing iv gotten till now. The IO dint take my I94...infact she dint take anything except for some doc's that I had taken for proof of marraige etc.

YAY !!

to anyone else reading this , though -

please understand that contacting a Tier 2 human at USCIS can resolve a lot of issues, especially those concerning yer appointment - the Tier 2 human can actually call the local USCIS office and get stuff done in quasi real-time.

IMO, this 'multi-infopass appointment' stuff that voh went through was a waste of time, as 3 or more offices are incapable of direct communication (and it showed).

A Tier 2 Human at USCIS can clear up a lot of silliness, early, and often, but you must make that phone call , and Get One.

---

voh - I'm so happy for you - what's next on the agenda? work? school? art exhibit ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks so much.

I agree with you about the Tier 2 Human/ higher up supervisors. In my case going through infopass helped as I had to show them my documents that I did get some notice from USCIS for reschedule of interview.

After that, there was a phase that a lot of silliness went on and thats when I came to know about the Tier 2 stuff. Next time on when I called I straight talked to them and they are the best. They were helpful and helped expedite things in a way.

OH well, I got my GC now so its all good...next on the agenda....keep working....

Good Luck to the others in this mess...
