some places - yes, that's true.

also true, is that GUANGZHOU IV (where you have an interview) DOES allow co-sponsers and joint-sponsers for the I-134.

I-134 for YOU and I-134 for Joint-Sponser (that's 2 I-134 documents) are

submitted on interview day, in Guangzhou.

NEVER prior.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

The I-134 is what you need on interview day, to be fair to co-sponsors they should know what they are getting themselves into, in the event that the sponsoree cannot work, the sponsor is obligated to support them financially until they have worked 40 quarters or obtained U.S. citizenship. That's ten years!

Stanley - I'm sorry, that's just wrong info for the I-134.

the sponsor is obligated to support them financially until they have worked 40 quarters or obtained U.S. citizenship.

It's correct for the I-864, though.

which, for a K-1 visa filer, may come LATER during the AOS process -

but never at Guangzhou for a K-1 visa.
