Hey, I have a question about the affidavit of support form. I was looking at the guide for the I-129F and it talks about what to do after you get the NOA2. So there is a number of things and the 5th point under what to do talks about the affidavit of support. So it says:

" You will likely need at a minimum (for the above form) two to three of your most recent pay stubs and a signed letter from your employer listing you job title, start date, your salary, and the status (full-time) of your position. Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. You will also probably want to include other evidence such as your banking information and other assets as required by the I-134. Specifically you will need at least 2 of the 4 options mentioned in Section II-Supporting Evidence of the I-134. See this FAQ for more tips and useful information on the Affidavit of Support Form. "

Would anyone happen know what the section II-Supporting Evidence is and what the 4 options are?

If you make 125 % above the poverty line, then you need to refer to the I-134 form topic “General Instructions.” Then, under the label “Supporting Evidence,” include these items. You will hear many opinions on this subject, but I can tell you outside of the VOE (Verification of Employment) from my employer, and a letter from my bank displaying “Date account opened,” Total amount deposited for the past year,” and the “present balance,” I sent (6) months of pay stubs, last three years of tax transcripts, (2) copies of my latest bank statement, and a copy of my latest tax return. You can order the tax transcripts from the IRS via phone. The cost is free for the transcripts. If you do not make 125 % above the poverty line then you will either have to list assets or recruit a sponsor. I know you will do well. Oh, I am not aware of any section II of the I-134 form.

Ok, so I would need a co-sponsor. So is my co-sponsor the only one that needs the tax transcripts? Well I'm just asking if only he needs them because I didn't work last year or the year before. All I would have would be the bank statements and the pay stubs. Would it be a problem if I dont have the tax papers, although my co-sponsor would have it?
