Just curious...What is this touch thingy!

You can register your case on USCIS website. So to to the USCIS website. Click on Sign-up for Case Updates.Create an account and follow the directions for registering your NOA1 receipt number(s).Set up e-mail and/or SMS updates; take note you will only receive updates based on major milestones in your application, like card production ordered, approvals, refusals, case transfers, etc.

There is a column there called Last Updated. Every time the date changes, it means your application has been touched; you will not receive e-mail or SMS alerts for touches.
