How do you know if your DS-3032 was accepted by Email @ NVC

Hi All,

Couple of questions:

1. About 2 days ago we emailed our DS-3032 form to NVC. How Do I know that it was been accepted?

2. Looks like you cannot Pay IV package fees until DS-3032 is accepted. Is that correct?

When you get email response or IV fee bill invoiced at the payment portal.

2. Looks like you cannot Pay IV package fees until DS-3032 is accepted. Is that correct?

But, probably yours could take less. I've hear that they have much work in summer. But. Im not sure of that info. Hopefully you'll have it approved in less than 1 week, as Loto said. You have to be prepared to pay $404.00 when they accepted. :thumbs:

I would say 5 - 7 days based on~ mine got accepted in 4 days after I returned signed DS-3032 PDF to NVC on October 02, 2010 (e-mailed DRAFTED in the VJ template DS-3032 on September 29, 2010 to NVC.).

  • 09/29/2010: NVC Case#, Provided both email IDs.
  • 09/29/2010: DS-3032 COA e-mailed to NVC
  • 09/30/2010: I-864 AOS review fee ($88) online payment
  • 10/02/2010: DS-3032 COA / ACL returned to NVC via e-mail
  • 10/04/2010: I-864 AOS status 'PAID'
  • 10/05/2010: I-864 AOS package FEDEXED out to NVC

asumption - using the online payment portal

1. it's not 'accepted', per se - it's 'added to the casefile and tagged as added to the casefile' - and the best indicator that you'll have - is that - THE VERY NEXT DAY - the IV fee bill will show up 'to be paid', on the online payment portal.

2. Correct. There are expections, but most are hinged around any G-28 document filed with initial I-130 submittal.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
