They said when they looked in the application the docs were actually there and they were going to process it on the Monday - the 18th, BUT still nothing :(

Did you get a text message or something like that? An email? Did you send the Form G-1145, Notification of Acceptance of Application/Petition, which is usually completed with the petitioner's details in order for him to receive emails/sms with your case updates(email NOA1, your receipt number and the forwarding to VSC)? If not, then you won't receive anything, you'll just receive your hard copy for your NOA1 and then you can sign-up for case updates on USCIS.gov and you can manage things from there and check your status.

Wait for the hard copy, it usually arrives in 7-10 days. That's what they said to us and we received it quicker anyway.

Oh my, I understand. I know it's frustrating, but thinking that they can actually issue NOA1s within 60 days... It's long, it won't happen, you'll receive it sooner, but still... the waiting is killing us all. Just give it just little more time. This week. It needs to show off eventually. Stay strong, hon!

My fiance received the hardcopy of NOA1 last week. When he scanned it today to show me the copy, we realized that they misspelled my first name. He had to call the USCIS to notify them of the error. He was given a case number for it. I hope this mistake won't delay the process for us. :)

hi all, we started our process 8 months ago, i have not heard anything yet, i am very sad, i miss about my Mark:)))

If you submitted your I-129F 8 months ago, then you should be on the horn to USCIS, your congressman/woman, your senator, etc to find out what the hold up is.

Since your timeline has not been started by you it is hard to tell where exactly you are in your 'process'.

John
